1st 13 games of 11/12 season 43 goals scored 11 wins 2 draws not much difference in records.

I was surprised reading that.

Goes to show the drop off we had that allowed United to get 8 points clear before we turned it around.

nope. 6 v Rags, 5 v Spurs, 4 v Swansea, Blackburn, Villa and regular 3's v Bolton, Wigan, Wolves, QPR and Newcastle. We beat Norwich 5-1 at the same stage as tonight. That being said, from this point in the next 10 away games we played in 2011/12 we only scored (I believe) 5 goals and won 2 games, so it went downhill a bit from here till April.
 
We need about 2.6 goals a game I think to do this. Skipped a little in recent weeks with our 2-1 wins.

A good few against West Ham would be welcome to boost the average and keep us on course.

For 104 we need 2.5 per game

We have 44 in 14, and require 60 in 24

The great news is that even vs teams that park the bus, we're scoring a couple of goals
 
West Ham, Swansea and Newcastle all this month should bump our goals per game back up a bit.

This is the score over 100 goals bet thread, so hardly likely to forget goals and IK am sure every single one of us that has bet 100+ goals would prefer us to win the league with 99 goal than come second with 100 goals.

So all in all your post was a bit pointless (pun intended)

Although, if we keep winning, opposition managers might change their approach and go for it more because they have worked out that if they just defend for 90 minutes then we will eventually score anyway. I'm hoping so anyway because the last three games have been fucking painful to watch at times.
 
The thing is, we're going through a 'blip' in form and yet still scoring 2 goals in each game (and getting three points) so it's happy days. Keep believing!

???? You think they'd rather a 4 or 5-goal defeat than being at 1-1 in the 80th minute? It will be like this until Pep leaves us in however many years time.
