The 7 Shifts In Manchester Power

Excellent article, really enjoyed reading it and it brings home the importance of tomorrow's match. After a difficult week for us the press are smelling an upset and are hyping up Van Gaal and the rags as if they were Madrid or Bayern. It would be good for our players to lay down another marker and remind the rag infested media that the only things that have changed in Manchester, football wise, is Man U have got a different manager and have spent 100's of millions on some different players, everything else remains unchanged.

Great read that. Surprised the one true defining moment upon which the Mancunian football axis shifted didn't get a mention!

Aguerrrrrrrrrrrrooooooohhhhhhh!
The defining moment for me will always be the semi final win.

Hard to disagree with the events chosen for the 7. Small point, would an equaliser in the 3-2 Cup defeat have led to extra time? I thought it would have resulted in a replay....

Has anyone read the other derby preview on FourFourTwo - <a class="postlink" href="http://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/how-united-became-typical-team-manchester-and-why-derby-will-never-be-same" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/how ... er-be-same</a>

Done by a United fan who's a decent guy apart from his allegiance.

Interesting take on how United are becoming the new 'typical City.
