The After Party at CO-OP LIVE

I'm disappointed I can't go to the parade and the event, but my parents can't / won't do the parade so it's nice that they can have the opportunity to celebrate the team too. Sounds like a decent event, and who knows, it might end up being an iconic night.

That big yellow thing is going to be out for the day, take a few beers, nice

Alcohol free beers ok?
The parade is free

I know

Man.City-loyal ? I think you need to change your user name

Because I don’t want to be spending money for an event?

Not Loyal? I’m going tonight for the test event, including this Sunday I will have been to over 40 games this season (not just the men’s games) spending a small fortune along the way.

There are 3 people I want to celebrate the clubs achievements with the most, unfortunately I am unable to do that with them on Monday so not going is fine with me.

Happy?

Glad to get that off your chest

I have never ever been in the business of slagging off our fans for attendances, as a season ticket holder i get it. It's mad expensive and all the rest of it.

BUT

I have to say I am pretty shocked and disappointed that this hasn't sold out instantly, especially after Monday night's news. It's £12-£20, on a bank holiday, not a late night, accessible and the goodbye do for arguably the greatest servant in this club's history. I think its a real poor show from our lot and I just don't get why people aren't bothering. Why is it?
to be fair, has it been properly advertised? If it wasn’t for coming on here I probably wouldn’t know about it

Been thinking about this after I was asked to go. The person who asked suggested the £185 tickets, I said I will not bother after earlier in the day wanting to go. Now I'm thinking how can the club now monetise a celebration parade. The more I think about it the less respect I have for the faceless ones driving this never ending roundabout if finding ways to get money from supporters. A parade has always been a way for supporters to line the streets to cheer the players as they pass, I know they are doing the short parade from northern quarter but it is to link with the money grabbing exercise st the Co op. I maybe a FOC and view things differently to younger people so I am sorry to say, that my view, is this Co op thing leaves a nasty taste in my mouth, and I wonder will the club ever stop looking at ways to fleece fans. A parade, especially the end, has always been and should always be free on the streets of Manchester not a pay per view at some concert hall. Sorry, but not really, if I upset some people;-)
I think you’ve made some good points. A parade/ celebration should probably be free and for everyone.

I’m going, but The co op arena part feels a bit like a money making exercise.

Do City fans EVER stop moaning?

It's in our DNA. Hey we have had plenty of practice over the years at some of the shit we've endured lol. Actually i sometimes wonder if us being so shit attracted the more miserable moaners in Manchester, more opportunity for a good old whinge lol.
