The closure is from Monday so doesn't impact the Villa game.

From the Metrolink website:
From Monday 25 to Friday 29 May, improvement works will take place at Piccadilly Gardens. During this time, no trams will operate between St Peter's Square/Market Street and Piccadilly. There will be service changes on the Ashton-under-Lyne, Eccles, East Didsbury, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines. Customers may need to change trams, take a short walk or use the free bus to continue their journeys.

Do you think the metrolink would be disrupted like this on a day the rags were planning a parade?

Like to know people’s thoughts on this. Waste of money if you ask me. Could be on the streets in 29C sunshine. Or stuck in the co-op paying £9 for a pint. City women/men will only be in co-op for an hour. They arrive at city square half 6 then have to get to the stage. Closes at 8pm.

But would also be nice for final goodbyes but don’t think it’s worth it, especially when going last game day before

makes some sense logistically, but does feel like it could be a misstep with attendances for both being smaller than they could be. miss the old parades
again....we keep going on about how well our club is. Sadly in some areas we are clueless tbf..tkt, PR ..you know the stuff that affects the fans!

What's your complaint?
A waste of money for whom the fan or the club?
Its likely that the F&B will be at stadium prices, ultimately you don't have to buy, there are options with a wide range of prices in there
You might have missed it but, you have the option of the parade and the activity around the main entrance when they arrive before they move to the arena The club are trying to cater for all
Cant trust the Manchester weather and it ensures we give a send off that Pep deserves
