My mate works in events and says loads over last day or so have been asked to work this so something big might happen who knows as he says it’s pretty uncommon so likely something big…. I’ve got my tickets anyways

From Monday 25 to Friday 29 May, improvement works will take place at Piccadilly Gardens. During this time, no trams will operate between St Peter's Square/Market Street and Piccadilly.

It will also be a Sunday service which means 1 tram / 15 minutes.
