The After Party at CO-OP LIVE

I wonder why no Kyle walker either sat or tonight, someone's chips obviously have been pissed on, we even got Jack carrying a trophy

Also thought no Sterling was interesting, he and Pep clearly had a big falling out.

Like weddings, some people just can't make it, we don't know what they've got going on with family and their own club commitments. Lets not invent slights and rows without knowing anything.

Walker was playing 3pm Sunday getting relegated so would have been an absolute piss take for him to be in Manchester for the celebrations this weekend.

What a great night! Brilliant to see the youth cup winners and women's team get some airtime and limelight as well.

Bought tickets last week and was in 2 minds whether to go or not, was absolutely emotionally drained from yesterday. Glad we made the effort, it was first class.

Yesterday was extremely sad. Today was a pure celebration. Seeing all those trophies come out 1 by 1 hit home how lucky we've been. For someone who grew up in the 80s and 90s, I treat every trophy as if it's the last. Enjoy them all.

And Bernardo dropped a C bomb. Great stuff.

My un-expected moment of the night - Bunny Shaw announcing her new deal

I never take more than a passing interest in the women's team, but I remember when she joined and you could tell how much she loves it here, she has a great attitude, I was delighted the club are retaining a top player and common sense has prevailed, up the fucking blues

Anyone know who the women player was that was being interviewed on stage? she had blonde pigtails and had what I’d describe as a posh southern accent lol.

Kompany the biggest surprise guest, we pretty much knew about the rest. His reception just screamed future manager, just a matter of time.

Presume gundo had to bail seeing as he was here yesterday. Shame we couldn't get David Silva back. He's the one we never got to say goodbye to who deserves it more than anyone else. Surprised walker wasn't involved. Mike summerbee didn't look in good shape, hopefully just the heat getting to him, he's always looked in good health for his age until today.

I'm well in my cups after tonight but did he not have a fairly modest testimonial at home 24/25?

I want to say Brentford, August/ September...

Not sure it would be a pisstake for him to go to an event to say goodbye to one of the country's best ever managers who played a massive part in his career but yep may have had holidays booked etc.

Top night, really enjoyable event. Didn't overdo the emotional side, pitched sentiment and celebration perfectly.

Genius idea to get different people to bring out the trophies one by one, really drives it home just how successful Pep was.

Massive thanks to Kompany just for being there. I guess as the Bayern manager he felt it wasn't appropriate to do an interview at a City event. But fantastic to see him, loudest cheer of the night.

Jacky G felt like an unexpected celebrity appearance, which is weird with hindsight given he's a City employee.

Not sure Pep enjoyed the comedy clips, but fuck him, shouldn't be leaving ;-)

The Bunny Shaw announcement was a real bonus for the event. I only watch the occasional women's game but even I know this is huge. Those that watch the women a lot must be ecstatic.

Doves were too loud. Does that mean I'm an FOC? The Catalan group were fine.

Post-event, the melancholy has set in that we won't see Pep again. When his leaving was announced I knew he'd be there against Villa. And then after Villa I knew there was the After Party. Now it's finally hit home and I feel like something's missing.

Love you, you crazy Catalonian bastard.

doves without jimi is pointless.

otherwise, what a well-organised and slickly-run event.
a celebration rather than a sad farewell.
well done to everyone involved in organising and coordinating it.

smiles all round.
