So can Rod, like the inverse of an East German 400m runner who is off their granite like tits on PEDs, be stripped of the crown in his case for future rather than past misdemeanours ? Because Lord knows there's been enough of them :-)

In fairness if I think of this as basically a Faces album, which I do, then I'm not quite as sad that JJ Cale has been usurped.

The strange thing was Rod Stewart had a recording contract in his own right. Then, the Faces, a rebirth of the Small Faces came along and signed him up. He/they then had to turn out a number of LP 's, from memory 3 each, to complete their individual contracts. It is the reason why some LP's were accredited to Stewart alone and some to The Faces.

Indeed, there'd be lawyers everywhere. Always though it was a shame things fell apart but I guess in the situation they had it was inevitable.

Rod and Ron Wood Royal Albert hall Maggie/Gasoline Alley audience participation they love him.
Played so many times on the radio, clubs and pubs it’s easy to think I’m bored of it. Until something like this thread reawakened my interest again.
A new twist on EPTAS and Maggie with the Royal Philharmonic orchestra I think his voice aged well. I know we can do all sorts of things to improve an aged voice but he’s still the same
He’s one of a kind a real UK superstar.

‘New’ Ryan Adams album ‘Blackhole ‘ just released, dates back to 2010 just after ‘Cardiology’ so could be ok.
First listens are positive.
