The 'anti-Tevez' feeling..

It was the same with Johnson though too. He now seems to always look to pass rather than shoot!

Tevez has won us many a game so we cant be too harsh on him.

I cant think of a time yesterday when passing to Dzeko would have got us a goal. I cant think of one against Wolves either come to that.

I don't think the problem is Tevez passing to someone who is in a better goalscoring position... it's more that the play comes to a dead stop too often when Tevez just puts his head down and charges into the penalty area.

We can't be too critical of it as he just about carried our attacking threat this past 12 months, but as we progress as a team, we have to have more options than that single tactic.

I can see see Dzeko being moved into the central position, and that might upset Carlos again if he is pushed wide again.

I thought that we should have rested Tevez for the Villa game as he has run himself into the ground, and that's how it looked for him yesterday.

We need to rotate far better than we do now, and pick teams for specific games.

It isn't just in the box/direct goalscoring opportunities, it also includes keeping attacks/momentum going rather than gifting possession to the opposition. I'm sure there are times when some of our lads must think to themselves 'Carlos has the ball, I may as well stay in my defensive position rather than waste energy getting forward.'

Tevez is not a bad striker is what im saying, i'm saying is that he has to become an World Class Striker and begin to pass the ball more frequently, even when he is scoring goals (Wolves Game) he could of also assisted Dzeko about 2 goals that game but didn't because he probably sees Dzeko as competition so if he scores hes screwed.. Sure, maybe he plays great, but in order to be World Class you have to learn how to pass the ball to a team mate that is in a better position that you, something he obviously doesn't know how to do..

He's fucking awesome

This^^^ and what the fuk was Bobby thinking about putting Dzeko out wide? he must have been instructed to do that(dzeko) but would surely be better on the end of crosses, i don't get it at times.

any anti tevez feelings are just not on, he's been fantastic for us and will continue to be.
what we are yet to do is cash in our opponents doubling up on him and leaving
someone else unattended.

Im dying of laughter mate!!

Tevez is the best player in recent years to wear our shirt,i have no doubt of that.

He was playing alongside a new partner, once they learn more about each other and Mancini subsequently adopts the system that will bring the best out of both,we will have a strikeforce the envy of the premiership.

I don't think there is any anti-Tevez feeling about his football, other than he could pass a little more, but on yesterdays evidence so could Silva, and Yaya (or maybe less and shoot more).

There are a number of people (and I'm one) who doesn't like the way he behaved in December, and that won't go away, it was all too public, and very unnecessary. He'll probably go in the summer, and from the point of view of the person, I can't say I'll lose a lot of sleep.

We do need to find a better alternative to the "one man attack", but its not insurmountable, and we have two good forwards who can do that, any sale must be for the benefit of the club, and not Carlos Tevez, and any fee must be re-invested in as good a player or better.

I trust that Mancini will make the right decisions.
