The Ardwick

Both.

No idea on cost for this year but there were 2 options:

19 PL and 1 DC was about £2,500 ish
19 PL, 1 DC & 3 CL (group stage) £3,000 ish

Food and drink is not included in any package and your paying £5.50 a pint with food/nibbles ranging from £5 - £15
So potentially worst case you're looking at £2,500 for 19 games

Less the price of a normal season ticket... lets say £800

That means it's costing you (2,500 - 800)/19 = £89.50 per game to sit in a pub for an hour or two and get a padded seat to watch the match

The worlds gone mad !!!!

Almost tempted to change my seat from SSlv2 to be able to go into a pub and buy a Beer & sit on a padded seat for 2.5K , but then again Not a fucking chance

And pay for food and beer on top!

Is there room for another pub in the south west corner, if it's possible suggest it's name is
The Hyde Road.

Pre covid and depending on the success they were looking at one in the opposite corner. No idea if it will go ahead, granted it hasn't been open long but I don't think its been the roaring success they were hoping for.

Drink in Town or any decent Pub of your choice get good beer and food at decent prices. Jump on a tram get in 15 mins before kick off. Don't freeze your bollocls off in City Sq or in the ground holding a plastic glass. Why anyone wants to drink the slop they serve and eat overpriced substandard food is beyond men. I can understand maybe a Hot drink on a cold day. A decent PubThe Grove just past the Academy serves goods Beers at cheap prices and is not in the Plastic Glass Zone.

I thought this was about the pub in Blackpool with cheap beer and a massive wooden cock and balls statuette on the bar. Nevermind.

I clicked on the title as I had it in my head that this was going to be about the New Ardri that used to be in Hulme, clearly a very different clientele in both places!

There is one reason the Ardwick has value - away tickets. Every away game to me involves a flight or very long train journey (as indeed does every home game!!). Knowing as soon as the fixtures are out I will get tickets means I can plan travel with immediacy. The “extra” cost of the season ticket is offset by far cheaper away travel. The actual “experience” of the Ardwick is probably worth £20 a game tops
