If Pep high on Fernandinho, maybe he sees him and Gundogan as the starting midfield players next season and we not looking at adding anymore to that position?

Pep Guardiola Only Sees 3 Current #MCFC Players as ideal starters

http://www.90min.com/posts/3259781-...l-starters-ahead-of-200m-overhaul?a_aid=35500

According to the Daily Mirror, Guardiola, who will now be directly competing against old foe Jose Mourinho across town, sees only three players as his ideal starters - Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne and Fernandinho.

I think we need more than 2 good midfielders!

Not likely to be too far wrong.

Might not replace him this year but he won't be sold on Joe.

Silva needs to get 100% fit and then he may join the starters.

Other than that I reckon in an ideal world, Pep would replace the lot of them.

I reckon he can turn Sterling into someone worth keeping. I wouldn't blame him for removing every single defender though. Or Yaya, or Bony, or Delph or Fernando. Ugh. Other than Pep, what exactly is it Txiki has been doing?

Dont get me started on Txiki mate!; ) Personally I put "some" of the blame on him for the slow/aging and on the decline team we saw last season.....I happy Pelle gone but things were not helped by the last couple of poor transfer windows.....I need to see alot more from Txiki this transfer window....

Mate, I am working on the philosophy (love that word, cheers turtle..) that other than the trophies forget everything that has happened last few years, just buckle up and get ready for the ride of our lives with Pep at the helm.

It's going to be fucking magic.

Many people seem brainwashed that the players at RM,Barc, BM are all best in class when the simple facts are these teams have world class 5/6 players and 5/6 very good players. we are on the cusp of this and our team only needs a few tweaks but those coming in have to be top top drawer because our existing squad has plenty from the 2nd tier.
We have 4 World class already in Aguero, De Bruyne, Fernandinho, choice of Silva/Hart/Kompany.........so we are very very close and can fix it this window then sit back and enjoy!
The future is good.......remember pre 2008! Frightening how far we've come isn't it!

Jeremy's Summer Predictions (self.MCFC)

It's been a while but I've decided to consult my crystal ball. And just to say that my crystal ball actually meets with Pep unlike Tolmie's Wig. So you can be sure that our sub is more ITK than anywhere else. Some of this is confirmation, some new. Here we go. Joe Hart. Can be coached to Pep's system Centre Backs. Stones no 1 target. La Porte also wanted. Get both, Mangala prob gone. I like Mangala. Too bad. Ageing backs will leave. Fabinho wanted. Gundogan coming but we all know that. Sterling, a Pep project. Good. Paired with Sane. Hooray! No big signings like Pogba etc because that's not Pep's style. So there you have it. 5 predicted signings. Let's hope we get them all. BTW wouldn't it be nice if Pep's first interview was with someone outside the football world? That would rock!

Did a search and this user got KDB and Otamendi spot on last summer. He says Sane, Stones, Gundogan, LaPorte, Fabinho (haven't heard that name since last summer)

Surely we won't go into a season with just the Fern's and a crocked Gundogan as our only CM's?

Sounds good but to put it bluntly 1 centre mid won't cut the mustard.
