makes for quite depressing reading last day or so? lol martin Blackburn does seem to get decent city info in fairness but @tolmie's hairdoo has been so insistent we are balls deep for pogba? also from pogba to wilshere seems a massive come down? hopefully some legs in the kroos stories and heard last night that thiago was actually our number one target! would be nice to sign some world class players who will be fit for the start of the season though!! lol

Being in for a player and actually getting him are two separate things, something that Tolmie has pointed out again and again. If it's too dear a package or he's messing us about we will walk.

TH seemed to indicate that we were very interested in Pogba but not going to hang around to be messed about or used as a stalking horse. Situation could change if Juve agreed a price with an English rival.
 
If Martin Blackburn is saying such about Pogba, I would put plenty in it.

Things do change, but he only ever writes what City give him briefs or steers on, and he's a very good journo.

He's too close to the PR camp to piss it off, especially with Pep in.

It would also seem to add up, as the whispers have definitely been strong this week that he's so expensive, we weren't prepared to hang around and that Kroos/Some other German targets were back ups.

Especially so, if we know he's off to Spain.
