I know, Laporte was shocking, I thought he already had a city shirt haha and I've liked sane aince I seen him come on as sub against Madrid, he was a top talent. I was buzzing when I thought city could be getting him but you know them Germans all love Bayern and Bayern offering to let him stay at his club for another year. *i can't watch* haha

I hope not mate....cant see Pep wanting to wait around until the end of July to see what his squad is going to look like....new system to put in place etc...He arrives in less than 2 weeks and I would guess he wanted to atleast have an idea of what the final squad will look like at that point...
 
Townsend played very well at the end of last season. I know he's flattered to deceive, but when he gets on the ball he really does take some stopping. There are a few players knocking around who people will not like one bit, but might do a good job.

these players get shown up at the very top level (international level)...they get shown up in europe as well so for the Clubs main aim they will get us no closer.......there isn't virtually a single English player I would have in our squad let alone our starting 11 other than Joe Hart (sterling is a very good squad player)
 
Townsend is truely awful. Just as very rare moments that overshadow his total crapness.

There is no way we are going to sign this guy. If we do then I shudder to think what a disappointment Pep no doubtedly would be.

Please no more shit English players. It's like signing Slovakians bar 2-3. No surprise they drew tonight.
 
Guys, we aren't signing Andros Townsend. The meltdowns here would be more spectacular had we not gone through this almost a month ago when an equally dubious report said we were in on Jack Wilshere.
 
If Pep wants Andros Townsend, Txiki will sign him, then Pep will realise he's made a mistake & Txiki will get the blame as, for some reason, he will have forced Pep to have him, out of sheer meanness. Just like he forced Pellegrini to have various players & Marwood forced Mancini to have Sinclair & Rodwell etc.

That's what these guys do, they wake up in the morning & randomly look for players they can force the manager to have. That's why they get paid so much money, year after year, because Khaldoon loves to have a geezer randomly chucking the sheikhs money around on players his managers don't want, & of course the sheikh himself loves it too, that's why he keeps Khaldoon in a job, on so much money.

So yeah, txiki will force Pep to sign Andros Townshend, even if Pep doesn't want him.

And I'm the Pope's illigitimate son.
 
I am still hearing Stones is done and Nolitto is done. Also that Rose wants to come but I aint got a clue if we actually want him
 
This is about how we increase our home grown contingent and think we prefer Oxlade-Chamberlain who is more versatile but its hard to find and get decent home grown players without paying way too much. We need to shift Delph who looks way out of his depth and doubt anyone from EDS is truly ready yet.
