thanks Karen....even more reason why we need to get Peres signed..
Well we're better off than Sunderland our first opponents Trueblue. They haven't made any signings yet, and are in limbo not knowing what's going on with BS and the England job. They lose him it might be Pep v Roy Hodgson?!

I hope Tolmie is right because the last few hours have seen some comical headlines coming out in the media. My worry is that they're so bizarre the media wouldn't have the imagination to come up with them but perhaps we might?

Was I naive to think that getting top 4 and Pep meant we could have out pick of some of the World's best players?

Come on City don't waste this messing about with strange deals.

A great start with Gun and then.....well it's all gone a bit Bony.

a hugely underwhelming and at times baffling transfer window so far
I think we are still missing a core and purpose in our team. I have no idea how this group of players are going to produce any kind of 'style', its the most unbalanced side we have had since Hughes and whatever miracles Pep can work will be needed
sounding a little spoilt as a few on here also are, but i am strangely de-motivated by the way things are going

even a :
Gundogan
Stones
Sane
Nolito
Peres
ZInchenko

summer is really really average for the outlay we are looking at when we list the players like that..

We havent addressed any of the MAJOR flaws so far, a gaping chasm in the middle of the park and no world class/top tier forward to link with Aguero or replace him when probably required

Re the earlier discussion about false 9s - some seem to have forgotten Dec 2014 when Aguero and Jovetic were injured and Dzeko pulled up in the warm-up at Leicester. We gave Pozo a run there but it didn't work out too well so for the following 3 or 4 games we played a fluid strikerless formation with Milner and Silva interchanging as false 9s. Silva scored 4 goals in 3 games and from memory we won 3 and drew 1.

Our current squad is even better placed to deal with such a situation, KdB, Sterling, Silva, Nolito, (and Iheanacho, who can play deeper as well as up front) are all capable of delivering goals if Pep decides to play a strikerless formation, whether by necessity or choice.

City boss Pep Guardiola IS looking to sign two full-backs, but his defensive priority is John Stones (who can also play there). [Mirror]
hi mate who in your unlicensed professional opinion is the better Twitter account for city news. City watch or Mcfc info? Say you had to pick only one to follow who'd it be?

I know you didn't ask me but City Watch, MCFC info is much like bluemoon and posts every rumor possible even if it doesn't make sense. Especially this window they've some details wrong, attached wrong names to players in pictures etc. They post a lot more frequently than City Watch but City Watch has the more realistic reports from more reputable sources.

I've sort of tried not to remind people of that, he stepped up to the plate at the time

I'm fucked. For a change, I just stayed tried my luck with some hot woman for a change. She told me her son is signing for city, Spanish, or South American.

It depends on how highly you rate Iheanacho I suppose. I think he's good, but with a long way still to go. Whether he's good enough yet to spearhead a top Premier League forward line on a regular basis I'm not yet convinced. Purely subjective opinion of course. Maybe he is (good enough)
Specifically what weaknesses did you seen in his admittedly limited appearances last season, because I thought he looked the part regardless of age.

That makes little sense. I just met a smoking hot woman. She said her son was signing for city and she was looking around.

Zaba love the man but I'm scared he will be this seasons demichallis if he stays.
Club legend and Warrior but finished at the top level
This will be the first season he will be starting having had significant rest (albeit because of injury) in a number of seasons. I wonder if a fresh Zabs has another season or two in him.
