He's exactly what I expected, decent promise, but we need to send him somewhere to toughen up and play in a team that gives him plenty of responsibility.

The overriding sense I get watching Nacho is that unless you play him as a No.9 and keep him around the penalty box, he is still very raw.

He has a very poor first touch and his control is all over the shop.

Completely agree with this...as good as kelechi is in front of goal the ball does bounce off him like he has concrete shins/boots on........he is instinctive in front of goal which is an amazing natural talent to have but he has a long way to go

Completely agree with this...as good as kelechi is in front of goal the ball does bounce off him like he has concrete shins/boots on........he is instinctive in front of goal which is an amazing natural talent to have but he has a long way to go

His natural position and the one he was playing when we bought him was as number 10.

I don't think he has poor touch or control, I think he struggles when under pressure as a 9 to hold he ball up. That's when he seems to have trouble. When he's having to run toward the ball with a CB on his back, then he has some poor touches.

When he drops deep and picks the ball up he's great.

He hasn't been great in the friendlies though, I'm blaming that on the disjointed nature of the game and the forwards being fairly isolated up front while the midfield sorts itself out and learns to play this new system.

Agree he needs time but not the pressure of being our second striker some guidance, training from pep's back room and a bit of love followed by some game time will see him develop into a really good striker
