I said pretty much the same thing and got slated. As much I want kelechi to make it with us. I don't think his overall game is good enough.

I don't think he has poor touch or control, I think he struggles when under pressure as a 9 to hold he ball up. That's when he seems to have trouble. When he's having to run toward the ball with a CB on his back, then he has some poor touches.

When he drops deep and picks the ball up he's great.

He hasn't been great in the friendlies though, I'm blaming that on the disjointed nature of the game and the forwards being fairly isolated up front while the midfield sorts itself out and learns to play this new system.

He's only young and with the management and players we have he will get better he just needs to carry on playing the game with a smile
