This season we'll have Sane, Sterling, Nolito, Navas, Iheanacho, Aguero, Jesus (few months) & (maybe) Bony all competing for 3 spots. Add into that Moreno, Zinchenko & Roberts next year. That's more than 2 a spot. And people think we'll spend another huge chunk on a Aubameyang (who's stated he won't leave), Suarez (who's stated he wouldn't return to England unless for Liverpool) or Sanchez (who's a direct rivals best player)?
Maybe I see it different to others but we already have too many players for those 3 positions, where on earth are people expecting us to play these guys if we signed them, could someone explain this to me? Suarez & Aubameyang sat on the bench waiting for Aguero to get injured rather than play for Barca/Dortmund? Sanchez to bench our £44m signing & move a recent £13m acquisition to 3rd choice..?
Sounds like total nonsense to me. A keeper sounds totally feasible, given Caballero is currently our starter & Pep clearly doesn't seem to have faith in Joe.
