The way this pitch is going, we may have enough now, if these 2 bat for an hour it could well be well out of the convicts reach. There is this revolutionary tactic I have for pitches like this, one which 'modern' cricket methods dont always adhere to, and its bowl at the fucking stumps!! I think it was the second test vs the Kiwis, we had 2% of the deliveries from the seamers hitting the stumps and went a whole session without 1 ball that would have hit the stumps according to Hawkeye.

Fuck off Australia. Come on England.

One of my favourite sledges/comebacks came on this ground. Greg Thomas, bowling to the master blaster Viv Richards, having played and missed at 2 consecutive balls, Thomas ran down and said, "its red, round and you are supposed to fucking hit it." Viv then dispatched the next ball into the river Taff and said "you know what it looks like, go get it"

Stokes likes to do a little sweep with his bat after the over is finished, just a little superstitious thing. So Lyon and Warner 3 times have stood in the way so he cant do it.
