As I've said Hans Backe is a pundit on Swedish tv, they were just talking about this incident and of course our own balloongate came up. He said he still gets furious when he sees it, because minutes earlier they'd told the 4th official to stop the game and get rid of those balloons. He was clearly still annoyed about the whole thing.

Speaking of Backe...the stories you get from him...weird inside stuff I've never even heard of before.

- Stephen Ireland could come and say 'I'm feeling a bit weird today, I think I should be on the bench', and then someone will go and take his place in the starting 11.
- What, is he a bit of a hypochondric?
- Well, he's a bit special, Stephen, but he's an amazing footballer.
