The Balotelli roundabout

I know i'll get hammered by all the Balo lovers but I just haven't seen this potential to be on a par to the likes of "Ronaldo and Messi".

He got man of the match at Wembley but it wasn't an awesome performance and after his initial goal scoring run he hasn't scored for months.

Not convinced and think it'll end in tears or prison!

At the end of the season he seemed to realise that in the english game everyone needs to pitch in because of the work rate and speed of the game that every other club you play against will commit to. It's almost impossible for english clubs to carry a true trequartista who doesn't do much apart form create moments of brilliance. Teams can carry such a player in the slower paced Italian and Spanish leagues but not in England.

He seems to be getting there, I was dreading a sending off after the Huth elbow in the final. He's shown he will work for the team, now it's time to kick on and become one of the best in the world.

If he realises his potential then he may find himself in a similar position to Tevez in that no teams will be able to afford him, excluding Real.

I can't decide if he's as mad as a box of frogs or just an ultimate WUM - I'm going for WUM but he's our WUM :)

Honestly don't think he's mad, I think he likes to provoke such reactions. He likes attention. But mad, no.

Compared to the general sanity that pervades CBL3, he's as nutty as a over-nutted Dundee fruit cake. But what a player! Would have loved Sorensen to have had a smaller pair of gloves in the final.

At times I feel like 'right final straw Mario!' then he does something to make me remember he is a twenty year old lad. . .living a dream life. Alot of people compare him to Micah when he was younger. But remember Micah still lived in his home country, with a club he knew well, his mates and family would be a drive on the motorway away, if not closer. I think he has already changed in a professional way (when he needs to) when he rose abouve the challenges from the Stoke game. I'm sure next season will be full of up and downs from his behalf, as he is still maturing and adapting.

Mario isn't mad, he does what he does when he wants. As he said, if he looses it on the pitch he looses it because he wants to, not because someone has wound him up. He actually appears to be quite intelligent, he knows what he's doing. Just look at how he reacted after the United game, all game Ferdinand and Vidic tried to wind him up and what does he do? Wait till the final whistle then causes mayhem. He's a joker, our joker. He's going to be huge next season.

It is laughable that people even put him in the same sentence as them two and it won't do him any good either. He doesn't have half the attributes Ronaldo has and Messi will be one of the greatest players ever.He does have plenty of ability though and hopefully next season he will start to show it more often.

Best young player in the world without doubt .
Mario has proved he's a big game player with his performances at Wembley and we should remember he's only 20 .
Mario IMO will prove to be Roberto's most important signing .
Were very lucky to have him so appreciate him whilst we've got him ..
