The Barry & De Jong Quick Fire Tackles

The telling thing was Ivanovic was the one with the momentum behind him and should have knocked Barry flying. Yet he bounced of Barry like... like a bouncy thing. Brilliant.

We've already got one for De Jong - it's Barry who needs a song.....

Whats the De Jong song?

Oh when De Jong goes sliding in,
Oh when De Jong goes sliding in,
There's only gonna be one winner,
Oh when De Jong goes sliding in.

To the tune of 'Oh When The Blues/Saints Go Marching In'

I can't believe you didn't hear that yesterday!

The crowd went absolutely mental in those 10 seconds.

The passion was reeling off everyone on and off the pitch. So was the pride!

I'm gutted they didn't show Yaya's mad run through the middle of the Chelsea defence. If he had scored the roof would have come off. Looking forward to our midfield well and truly sorting out those twats Barton, Smith and Nolan next week

watched the complete game this morning having sky+ it, Andy Gray backed Barry over the tackle, in fact in loved it.

anyone remember around what time this happened? Just downloaded the game and want to find it again

63rd minute.

I Sky+'d the game and must have watched the reverse angle shot about 50 times, Ivanovic is looking for a pass to his left initially and didn't see Barry until the last second, his face as he hits Barry was brilliant, looked like he run straight into an oak tree, and Barry just carries on while Ivanovic goes down like a sack of spuds.

Superb by Barry and De Jong, but my two favourites moments were Boyata pulling Drogba back and decking him in the penalty area. Absolutely hilarious. Wouldn't have been laughing if the referee had spotted them though.

I thought Silva threw himself alot around today for the cause.

the stories of this bloke being lightweight are bollocks.

funny in the first half when he squared up to alex, as if to say come on you want abit!

The Guardian match report said that he spent all day being brushed off the ball and his decoy run for the goal was the only thing of note he did.

The garbage that is written by supposedly quality sports journalists in this country beggars belief.
