it would but the trips are great. oh and we'd win it.

This is absolutely the way to view it, should we fail to qualify for the CL.
Hopefully we'd take it seriously, not complain about Thursday/Sunday matches and get to visit some different places. I also think with Conte, Klopp, JM, Wenger, Pochettino, Ranieri(?) and Guardiola in the league, as well as the cash available to all the teams, the top 4 could look quite different every year for a while to come and any success/trophies should be celebrated and not decried as not being good enough.
