Pellegrini has been carried by good individual players for two seasons. Those players are either now injured or old. He doesn't know how to grind out results. He doesn't have the tactical nous to win when the chips are down. Let's just hope not being in the CL doesn't mean we miss out on our top targets because there's no way we are accumulating more points than United or West Ham from now until the end of the season!
