Loads of permitations but at the end of the day we have a job to do. It's down to us.

And we are also due a win in a big game. Our record has been absolutely appalling against teams around us. If we only win the one against Arsenal but it means finishing in the top 3 then let's just fuckin get it done.

If Aston Villa finish fourth will they take our champions legue spot?

Is this thread on a loop?? How many times do people need to be told Liverpool winning the EL has no effect on us whatsoever.

Very important 3 points today to give us that little cushion again. I think us playing after United, West Ham and Liverpool next week is a good thing in the sense that we know what we have to do. If we was playing first I can just see us playing without urgency especially sandwiched in between the Madrid matches. If the other teams won (especially United) the players are under huge pressure to get a result and hopefully it will increase our performance levels. I know in an ideal world you would like to think the players would be busting a gut for 3 points every week especially with Champions League at stake, but you know our players turn it on when they feel like it.I think a win and 2 draws would do it as I reckon United will drop points in at least one game.
So is 4 th ok then?:))

rags now have a massive trophy to play for and may take their eye off the ball

really FA Cup massive

massive

Arsenal will lose to Sunderland and us and the rags will draw with Leicester and lose to West Ham so we're fine anyway.

Its the "on us" that's causing the confusion. Liverpool winning the EL could have an affect on United, Arsenal or West Ham, just not City. Its that distinction that some are missing.

I think its the variances in our performance levels that create the doubt. The fact that we don't always turn it on. Its feasible that United could beat Leicester next week and we drop points at Southampton which would put the pressure back on. The opposite results are equally possible

Anyone fancy Sunderland for at least a point against Arsenal?
No. It's all Arsenal have to play for. I think they will win, but it's tough game. Sunderland, Newcastle and Norwich are the toughest venues at the moment.

They have Norwich at home next weekend whilst we have Southampton sandwiched in between the Real Madrid games. I think we'll need to beat Arsenal to finish above them.

I think Utd will win their two league games against Leicester and Bournemouth, but I think they will draw at Norwich and West Ham. If that happens then we need 3 points from our 3 games to get to 67 points
