The battle for 4th place

I'd love to see us jump Arsenal for 3rd. Would hate to have to play CL qualifying games.

Me too but looking at their fixtures that is going to be very tough. They play 4 at home and these games include Palace, West Brom, Norwich and Villa. They also have Sunderland away. They could hardly have picked a better set of fixtures. We will probably have to beat them and perhaps even win all our remaining games to overtake them. Anything more than one loss/draw and I can't see it.

The loss to the rags was a blow to us. Instead of being above Arsneal and 10 clear of them, we are still not sure how it will pan out. We really could do with a win at Chelsea tomorrow.

If we get draws at Chelsea and Saints and then -

Win against Stoke, Newcastle, Arsenal and Swansea then even if United will all their remaining fixtures we should top them on goal difference.

However for us to achieve the above will need a big improvement which could come from the returning players, however we could get side tracked by the Champs League.

We have to get fourth and it's not good that we have got dragged into this position.

Massive victory against Chelsea most people thought we would lose so I think providing we win our home games we get top 4. Even if the RAGS go on some unthinkable unbeaten run that doesn't look possible all season.. They barely beat Villa who was already relegated ! LOL

4 points is virtually 5 with our goal difference so 2 wins and with only a few games left of the season.. I think we are over the line

Enjoy it blues great times ! =) haha !
