Give them the sniff of winning the last two to pip us to fourth by being - say - just 2 points ahead and we lose control and may miss out whatever we do at Swansea.

Unless United drop points in their next two (as they might) the only way we can do this is to get 4 points minimum from our next 2 games. Get six and it may not even go to the last Sunday which would be nice.

Either way Southampton is a must not lose game, but one I think we can win because they will play openly and go for goals but can be got at round the back.

Pick a team with that in mind, we win. Pick a team with Real Madrid part 2 in mind and who knows?

And if United drop points against Leicester it might not even matter if we lose so in that case we should go for it all the more.

I agree, the maximum we have is 6 games remaining this season, fuck it we just have to play our best 11 for the next 3 and see where we are sat. If we get into the final of the CL then I couldn't argue against resting key players but lets see what happens and enjoy the ride.

I don't want them Rag fuckers in the Champions league, i'd take fourth now if it meant they miss out.

If Maureen goes there I don't want them attracting players fro the top tier.

Leicester may beat the rags meaning all we need is 4, or even west ham away could be tough as well for them especially with the atmosphere given that it will be there final game in that stadium
 
I'm not expecting too much from Southampton, a draw at best, we should win at Swansea if we need to, the Arsenal game is the cruncher.
 
i'm a bit stuck . want them finishing out of the top 4 that's a given, but when it comes to the cup i'm struggling. if they lose that too they will sack LVG and its been so funny I don't want that.
 
Thought the Southampton game would have been Saturday at least,Sunday 4.30,I know it's weds for Madrid but an extra days rest and preparation could only have been a good thing for us..

That was my thinking too Bill. Keep him for a year and hand over to Giggs who will fail. Mourinho will either be a good success or implode as at Chelsea, no doubt a greater risk to us than Giggs. However, the United Board may now feel that the FA Cup is not enough if they miss top four and the £75Million that goes with it, however by not getting the top four cash they will be restricted in how much cash they could give Mourinho. They will have a real quandary on what to do.

However the key to all of this is keep them out of top four and deny them the extra potential £75M, whichever decision they make with the manager.

mutherfockers has there been any Sunday games kicked off at 4:30 before? The away fans won't be back until the morning. Why can't we swap with the leicester game so we kick off at 2pm?
 
Arsenal have home fixtures against Norwich and Villa so 6 banker points. We have to beat Arsenal and either Swansea or Sothampton to finish above them on GD.
 
Key is not to LOSE to Arsenal! If we can't beat a Swansea team that just got spanked and is dropping like a rock, and win our final game at Soton to make the Top Four, then.....! Also, hard to see everyone else in contention not losing a point or three. That said, I'd rather have the Arse's run in than ours!
