The BBC have just lost the plot now. They reduced News Night to a half hour political Graham Norton chat show and now have Matt Chorley hosting a 4 hr politics show on 5Live every weekday afternoon. Its shit and its in a slot that used to feature interesting interviews with prominent people in the arts, film reviews, comedy and general chit chat to pass your afternoon away with presenters like Nihal Arthanayake and Elis James and John Robins and so far fills your ears with unelected newspaper columnists and failed GE candidates - it will kill the slot and probably the drive slot later on which simply covers the same ground.

Fairly ludicrous second line to frame it with - it seems quite unlikely that it's the first thing on her to-do list.

Telegraph writer even commented that this was a ridiculous thing to talk about on a politics show, although not before mentioning that it was gesture politics!

Mason and co single handedly undermined Sue Gray and then act suprised when she resigns because her position is untenable. How much do Mason and Kuenssberg earn again? Tory supporters taking instructions from Tory HQ but paid for by the licence payer.
