Except that is fairly obviously not replacing Lineker.
Lineker hosts.
Rooney will sit and talk rubbish from a pundit's chair.

Whether the Mirror reporting the Sun's speculative reporting is accurate is a different matter.

They’re spending the excess money from Lineker to Rooney, from those who pay the licence.

The left dispise the BBC for being Tory.
The right dispise the BBC for being left wing.
This tell me they are about right.

That said this thread is hilarious to show the left's view of the BBC. So much so, that, If ever I need cheering up I visit this thread, have a good laugh and the world isn't so bad anymore.

According to this Keith Stalin wants the BBC to be more lefty. Culture sec using Glastonbury and the gaza doc as justification to remove the Tory donor DG.

I'm wondering which labour donor they'd replace him with

Why am I visualising Alan Sugar?

Meanwhile….the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport (and recipient of £52,000 in political contributions from Israeli lobbyists) has been mulling over whether to brand the BBC institutionally anti-Semitic to appease the Israeli ambassador.

I get the hypocrisy here.

Had it been Johnson/Sunak letting Dorris do it. This would be all over the news as the government overreaching.

Nandy has become another careerist champagne socialist who's happy to take money to keep her job. She could well be gone next GE if she continues on this path.

She's clearly enjoying the hospitality on offer...

Guess what - I watched this last night but can't seem to find the clip on-line. Like the BBC would rather it wasn't a point of focus
