For anyone who's interested . The actual meaning of the term "Aeolian cadence" is when a major key song resolves on the vi chord, which is the tonic chord of the relative minor key.
Not a Second Time is a very interesting and unusual song and showed a maturity in Lennon's songwriting.
The song is in G major but resolved Em. (The 6th).
I really like the long melismas in the song as well (extended words).
Each verse is an unusual seven bars long, while each refrain is an equally unusual ten bars long.
