I dont know, I would not describe Anthony Taylor, Martin Tyler and the class of 92 as a lot.
Ha, I wont even get you started on Max Woosnam or Kinkladze.

Thought I'd bump this thread. Trautmann the movie will come to the cinemas in November, I presume also outside Germany. The trailer is here:
Sorry German only, I could not find an English version. They used an part of Daglfing racehorse ground here in Munich where I live for City's stadium - rest done on PC. I am really looking forward to this movie.
Now now your ruining my reputation.
Anyone know if I can download this from anywhere ?

I provided some historical consultancy for this film and have seen the unedited English version. In addition to the story one of the best aspects for me were the CGI recreations of Wembley and Maine Road. I'd love to see CGI Maine Road developed further by someone. John Henshaw is brilliant in the film.

I too went the testimonial. Still got the program. Never forget Bert saying he was happy to be among "the greatest people in the world."The first live game I attended, as an 8 year old, was the Bert Trautmann testimonial in 1964 and from that day I was hooked. I suppose Mr Trautmann is responsible for my 50 plus years of joy, despair and joy again. Thank you.
Great post. Thank you.I too went the testimonial. Still got the program. Never forget Bert saying he was happy to be among "the greatest people in the world."
Wasn't just nice words, he really beiieved it, he often said that he learnt everything about life in the UK.
But my hero worship of Bert goes back to 1955 when I first went to Maine Road and saw this blond god in the net.
Got his autograph at the Total garage in Northenden, when he was on his way to his car washing job in Sale, I think. (How times have changed)
He kept cards bearing his photo in his German government sponsored VW, and signed them for all and sundry.
Massive(.!) Legend. Still my all time City hero, sorry Col, sorry Mago.
