The Coral - butterfly house. made me fall in love with this band again after some patchy previous albums. think it's even better than their debut. classic.

Totally agree mate re The Coral - off to see them in January perform it acoustically.

Kudos to Bob and the rest of you guys. You all have great taste and have steered me onto to some great music this year.

Really enjoyed the xx album this year.

It's the most 90's sounding album I've heard in a long while. Beautiful at times.

Chromeo - unheard of in Oz but saw him on soccer am and got the album. Great to drink beers to and have a boogie.

Sun Kil moon - down beat guitar/vocal album. Pretty spectacular.

Smudge - 'this smudge is true' greatest "hits". One of the great unsung 90's bands. Brilliant.

Fistful of Mercy's debut album is pretty good. George Harrison's son Dhani along with Ben Harper and Joseph Arthur.
