Yaya is better than shriek in every position bar one!

Yaya for me is close to our best at so many facetsif the game it is amazing and I reckon he could play anywhere it is ability to score important goals, set up important goals, smash opposition midfields and still pop up with a tackle or break up of play. What people also don't give him credit for ishiwmuch he directs play nd how often he is our main passer of the ball

Couldn't agree more mate. YaYa is enormously gifted & versatile, i remembered watching him play center back for barca back then in the champs league final against the rags/scums in Rome.

We are very fortunate to have him playing for us.

Messi, I know what you're saying about Yaya, but Messi could play as a sweeper and still get the ball to the opposition goal :)

Magical talent.

^^^^ This^^^^. Much as I rate Yaya, the answer is so,so obvious. Messi is the best on the planet by far. He'll probably end up being the best ever, that's if he's not already. End of IMO.......

7 pages and not one mention of Xavi. He dictates every game he plays in for club and country, won every medal there is to win and I don't think I've ever seen him give the ball away once. I think he might be the most underrated player of all time (he certainly is on Bluemoon.)

LOL. What an absolutely ridiculous statement he's very, very rated.

He's been runner up for ballon d'or 3 times!

It's obviously Sun Jihai. LB, RB, DM, RM, LM.

But seriously, Gerrard wad my 1st thought, Xavi Martinez 2nd choice.

Whilst I agree that Yaya is massively important to us and also agree that he's very very competant in playing in a variety of positions, for me he's not the best player in the world.

You can't look any further than Messi or failing that then the tranny. Messi and the tranny can both play left or right wing, up front, behind the strikers or at a push I reckon they'd do a job in centre mid providing they've got a tackling centre mid partner.
