You want me to find a band you "ignorant folk" - your words, not mine - couldn't live without? Well, here's something for fans of Led Zeppelin & Queens of the Stone Age. A band from Blackburn called Sky Valley Mistress. The drummer's a friend of mine - they're unsigned, but they're going on mini-UK tours every other week and they're a dedicated bunch. They'll also stake a claim for the 10s for the Best Decade Award.
