never seen a better goal never seen a better player in a sky blue shirt. my all time favourit and best goal i have ever seen, not because it was king colin, but to ghost from behind the referee he must have only had a milli second to see the ball, peter bonetti had no chance, i was there the erie noise straight after that goal around the ground will stay with me forever, everyone knew they had seen something special?

Not so sure about the greatest goal I've ever seen, but this is definitely the greatest celebration!

Dave watson's header against Ipswich 1977

game over
lock thread, we have a winner

Was that goal scored at the North Stand end, from a corner from the Main Stand side of the ground?

If so, I wholeheartedly agree! I have never seen a ball headed harder, nor seen it travel as fast into the top corner of the net. I saw it from my season ticket in the North Stand, Block N, Row 10, seat 2, 9 rows behind Helen!

UFB header! Good call, BlueJim1!!
