The best "long" songs

During the summer I was playing all the songs on the USB in my car in order (in fact still am, up to W) and got a bit obsessive about it, not skipping any including repeated versions. It was my 70 year old uncles misfortune, for him, to have to sit through Sister Ray during a trip over the Pennines. Don’t think he was too enamoured of that one

Ha I'm 63 and I think I'll still love this in 7 years time

Not sure if it counts.....but the my generation track on the Live at Leeds album by The Who.more than 14 minutes of pure guitar slashing/drum dumping/bass thumbing and random screaming/shouting timeless live music bliss.

Some excellent blues jamming by Fleetwood on their live recordings from Boston.

Massive bump

Love Genesis but can’t abide that one. I think it’s the singing that grates a bit. Gimme Entangled over that any time.

Was about to post Lily, Rosemary by Bob Dylan but just seen it doesn’t even reach the 9 minute mark, so doesn’t qualify for the thread - paltry stuff from Bob!

The Proclaimers - 'And I would walk 500 miles' has got to be mentioned.

Well if 500 miles isn't long enough I'd walk 500 more.
