Now here's an idea, what if Jose said that he would come on the condition that we could bring in Kaka and at least one other major signing, a la Villa, and that is why de niro's source says this is still ongoing. Jose would not want to sign up with us without knowing that we could land major talent, so he's decided to see if we can do that. I know it sounds rediculous, but doesn't it all?

i know, its annoying. i only posted this tonight because i'd asked him outright was it kaka.
when he said no i thought you lot might like to know that theres more to come should the kaka signing not come about.

For what its worth De Niro I think you're spot on. I think it's Mourinho as well. An ego bigger than any players and a bigger story than Kaka and Messi together, especially in the Prem. Don't know what you think about Ajay but didn't he say that Mourinho had contacted City not once but twice about the manager's job? Either way it's obvious to me that this is too big for Hughes, even the league position tells us that. I'll comment again on what I said on another post that the likes of Kaka, Messi, Villa et al don't need too much training or coaching but fine-tuning into a successful unit and from I've seen first-hand this year and second-hand over the last few years that is not Hughes' strength.
