The animation was done at Cosgrove Hall studios in Chorlton, the sound recording was (I think) done at the converted church (St Martin's?) on the corner of Carrington Lane, Green Lane next to Brooke's Institute.
When Frank Sidebottom's career was at a low ebb he worked for Cosgrove Hall as a props man, by this time they had moved to Broadheath, and the sound studio had moved to another converted church in Carrington.
