The Bluemoon Job Club.

Any HGV drivers looking for a change? My company is recruiting for 21 HGV1 drivers, all based on the North West. I don't have any influence on the recruitment, but I might be able to give more details if anyone is interested.

Any gardeners in or around Alty looking for a one off job? About half a days work I reckon . Lots of brews and City chat as well as regular payment

To elaborate on the post two up from this, United Utilities are recruiting 25 Class 1 HGV drivers, working out of Bickerstaffe (Ormskirk). The jobs entail driving water tankers and other equipment to support customers during interruptions to their water supplies, and is on a 24/7 shift basis. Contact Michael.haworth@uuplc.co.uk for details.

I'm about to complete an undergraduate degree in Building Surveying at Leeds Beckett University. If you work within the construction industry, could you please fill out this short questionnaire for me, based on Modern Methods of Construction.

This has been bumped at a good time for me.

Any suggestions for a new career for a (soon to be) ex teacher?

I'm waiting to hear back tomorrow from a couple of interviews I've had but I need some options in case I don't get either of them.

1) How old was she?
2) How come you didn’t get sent down?
3) More important than any ideas you might get from here, what do YOU WANT to do? Do that!

Just in case, have you ever thought about being a teacher abroad? Kills two birds with one stone...don’t have to find a new-new career, but completely changes your surroundings and life, while providing an opportunity to see much more of the world and maybe immerse yourself in a different culture.

Good luck in whatever you choose, and thank you for being a public servant and hopefully helping raise a new generation of educated young men and women!
