Hahaha not my pick but what a pick and I reckon I know who's it is. Landmark piece of electronic music that influenced loads of electronic acts. Orbital. Chemicals and Aphex Twin to name a few. Foster The People influenced nothing. Half decent song tho. Anyway smile all day. Be nice to your family and friends. If you go out later say hello to strangers and smile a knowing smile. Yes, hats off to whoever nominated Delia Derbyshire, a fine fine choice.

It does indeed turn out we are the best team in the land and all the world. We already knew that of course, but it's nice to have the shiny pots to show for it.
 
Didn't see this coming. I shouldn't like Pumped up Kicks but it's a pretty good song though.

The Dr Who theme is iconic. Does it break the rules? Maybe but who cares. It deserves to go through for its pioneering use of electronics and effects.

I actually met Delia a couple of times in a previous life. She was the most modest, charming, nicest people you could possibly hope to meet.

Pumped up kicks chorus reminds me of something and it's doing my head in. Anyhow they get my vote as the doctor who original is quite annoying.
