The Bluemoon Song Cup 2023

There is something so wrong with this, that oasis currently leads is beyond laughable and I'm a huge fan. Don't look back in anger is a great tune and it gets talked down because well its popular.

But when it comes to a vote people have to prefer it to the Beatles because we'll they are even more popular because they were just better.

The sadness of people refusing to conform to the obvious to make themselves seem different is laughable.

The sadness? Hello, another pathetic remark.

For someone that so readily shits on 90% of songs on here, I am surprised you don't understand the concept of people not particularly liking a particular song. Regardless of its popularity.

90%? I don't think so. I guess you see what you want to see. Anyhow it's a forum for opinions and it's not worth getting upset about it. Its not a radical idea that people move away from popularity.

If you don't believe it happens that's up to you. Have a good weekend.

big Bruce fan but I generally dislike his singles/hits - the poppy chorus-verse chorus-verse format leaves me a bit cold as opposed to something like Backstreets, Jungleland, New York City Serenade etc - however, having said that - this is such a rousing feelgood song it has to win the day for me - Hungry Heart

Of course it does. Going about concluding that people are picking one very popular song over another, just because it is slightly less popular, is not the worst thing in the world either. Glad you enjoyed it.
