A wonderful dirge that features some great brass, acoustics and literate lyrics based on a novel.

Versus “I wanna live like common people. I wanna do whatever common people do” yep, we’ll done, fantastic lyrics there.

You may not like it, but to suggest that the lyrics are gibberish is a bit odd. It’s just telling a story about different people’s daily lives in the US-Mexico border area.

Just brilliant. A few lines that tell a whole story.

Common People is a classic and gets my vote but I did enjoy the Calexico
