Keane far superior.Perhaps I didn't type it loud enough.

Imagine is naive whereas “Heroes” is about a REAL dream, the reunification of Berlin seen through the eyes of lovers on each side of the wall. Cheesy piano vs. Fripp and Eno too. Two popular songs pretty opposed in the way they approach their subjects, lyrically and musically.
Where are we up to in the overall contest mate? As in, after the completion of this round how many songs or how many ties left in the round to come?Bowie in the 40 club already against a tough opposition. Big score.
Biggest travesty you mean, but with the musically-inept tone-deaf philistines on here voting what do you expect.Biggest shock ? - tough to choose this one, I'll go for Kate Bush (The Man With the Child in His Eyes) knocking out Led Zeppelin (Kashmir)
As I live and breathe..... you have killed me, you have killed me.....Totally agree that Heroes is significantly better than that load of tripe but I'll still be underwhelmed if it wins this comp. Can't argue with the Fripp and Eno point though.
As we've sort of veered onto Tony Visconti territory can you name the artist who he produced who then seemingly name checked him on the album they made together but who was actually referring to a completely different Visconti in his lyric? There is at least one poster who will know this off the top of his head, which probably gives it away.
