Huge error.
I've recounted the votes (and recounted again) and now on the brink of a breakdown after spending my morning going through every single like count and time stamp.
However it was 39-39 at the time when I wrongly stopped play. Oasis did not have 40.
I will go on the final score as it is right now

I still prefer There is a light that never goes out over How Soon is Now? but yes, either way, the greatest band.....IMO this is the greatest song from history’s greatest band. Note: not necessarily my favo(u)rite song nor my favo(u)rite band. But this choice is easy for me.

I don't have them in my favourite 50 bands but their influence cannot be denied.
Its not my favourite song of theirs but certainly in the top 5 and it was an easy choice from me despite my admiration and love of Hendrix.
Red House might get my thinking for a tad but again the choice would be easy.

To be known as "The greatest band", it must shirley be a requirement for the singer to be able to, you know, sing. To be able to carry a note in something other than a bucket. "Ah; but the guy has charisma, personality, stage presence", I hear his supporters say. Now, yes; any of those qualities will mask, to some degree, a lack of vocal ability. But come on; can anyone of his fans seriously claim that he has any of those qualities?
Anyway; as I said a few days ago, we all know your lads will win the contest. And that was before the fix was in!
