I am personally quite suprised Heroes went out. I had that as the odds-on favo(u)rite. Now I'm really not sure.

It is, but it won't beat the beatles. Shame.That James track is a belter tbf. Just been watching a few of the live versions.
In fact I'm not sure any james track would beat this, and I voted James.

Both great tracks.
James are the great misunderstood and misrepresented band. I actually consider their best albums to be among the greatest music ever made. Their output between 1989 and 1994 has a depth beyond perhaps anything else I can name. Even Brian Eno believes this. They also stand alone when it comes to live performance.
I love The Beatles of course, but James will always get my vote over anyone else.

No, I missed the vote. Heroes was mine!I said it during the last round, Heroes had a free pass during the first 2 rounds up against Morrissey and The Smiths. Folk voted against the opposition rather than for Bowie.
