I think it is great on here that the Dylan,Floyd and Bush fans have taken their defeats the worse on here.

I don't blame the Dylan fans for being upset and can't quite understand Bush fans (or, rather, obsessives -- fans I get, but not the level of adulation her music receives).

However, while I like Pink Floyd quite a lot, needling their fans is fun. For example, by saying "Dark Side is ponderous tripe", claiming "Radiohead does a better Pink Floyd imitation than Pink Floyd", saying "Meh, I like David Gilmour's solo work better", or -- my favo(u)rite -- opining that "their best tune is a disco song ("Run")."

I thought it was odd that he voted against The Smiths in favour of Dylan ;)

Two American classics but “The Boxer” is all-world. Against “God Only Knows” I’d have picked The Beach Boys though.

For once I will respectfully disagree I cannot spilt them they are both 9.5 for me but no doubt God Only Knows is the BB at their very best. Much of what involves the Wrecking Crew is hard to toss.

The Boxer it is for me.

Don't mind Good Vibrations, but can only stand to listen to it once in a while, whereas The Boxer is more relaxing.

Both brilliant tunes, but no members of the beach boys could actually surf, so fuck em.
Having said that, as far as I'm aware neither Simon or garfunkle could box.
But because they didn't make a career out of it, it's s+g for me.
