The Bluemoon Song Cup 2023

Never heard either song, so came with an open mind.... I got bored listening to robot saying "sexy boy" over and over so I quit the Air track before the end.
Proclaimers seemed like a decent song at least, a bit stirring but I didn't like the quiet bit at 2:40 just seemed a bit meh. I did watch this through to the end though and it's an ok song imo. So went for them.
Bill , you never watched RAVE on ABC , they absolutely flogged Air to death to the point I thought that the producer must be a lover of all things Gay Paris or a puppet to the Daily Mirror reviewers.

Such a shame Porcelain has to suffer likely defeat here -- I've always loved this song and this record, and haven't ever really been able to understand the fawning fuss over Ms. Bush from Brits, though I like her fine. Oh well, up against a juggernaut.
This is a potential Wigan v City over a shorter timeline IMO.

This is Moby at his best and somewhat down my Kate Bush pecking order.

As much as I am a fan of Kate Bush for her song writing talent I had to toss a coin and it came up Kate.

Indeed. The Moby track doesn't feature any animal-like wailing so I voted for it!

Moby gets a bad rep for some reason, always found him to be pretty brilliant and unique.

He made some awesome electronic dance stuff before this breakthrough Album and continued to make some great 'advert' pop stuff - 'Extreme Waves' being my favourite of his.

The advert pop was part of the problem, he signed so many licencing deals to flog so much stuff you couldn't get away from him. It was more like he was a bloody advertising agency than a musician.
