I've got a couple of KV albums but I went for Jose Gonzalez here because I thought it was a more interesting song.

Agree. Not obvious picks but good ones.

I've gone for Kurt Vile as I like the guitar. It's recorded as two tracks in stereo and sounds really good on headphones.

Turning into a rout this for KV. I wonder how the significantly more recognisable Gonzalez track would have done. I would have picked that.

Looks like I picked the wrong side on this one :/ I remember heartbeat from the bouncing balls advert and he's just a guy with a guitar, but pearl jam, I 1st heard of those guys in the Wayne's World film .. Waynestock!

Two great tracks.

I love a bit of José so gone for that one. For anyone who plays guitar it's worth having a listen to his tracks and having a play. Some interesting tuning. The live acoustic version of this song is much better in my opinion.

Loved both songs though, hadn't heard the second one before.

Crosses had awful production with such blatantly annoying double tracking that it turned me away from a decent song.

My vote went to John Prine :-)
