Think I had a Lush album once, I liked this track. I've never really listened to Siouxse and the Banshees as much as I think I ought to. I've made a mental note to. Great song this and coincidentally features in this month's Uncut which has an article about their career in 20 songs. Tough on Lush but Spellbound gets the vote.

1st time ive heard either of these 2 songs, that banshees track had a promising intro but then the song just becomes annoying and stays annoying.

This has the vibe a of conference club scraping their way in to the FA Cup 3rd round only to draw the league 2 club that got promoted out of the conference last season.

The 12 inch version of Spellbound is my 2nd favourite all time song. The Banshees at their peak with John McGeogh on guitar, Budgie on drums and Severin on bass.

Damn, both those take me back to my student days.. Tough call but the Souixsie classic gets my vote.
Also as in the choice of vids below it was Once in A Lifetime so lead me down a pleasant musical rabbit hole

Banshees for me although i do judge them harshly for the inability to keep the song interesting and relying on a repetitive lazy chorus.

I've gone for lush as it's my era. Not a great song though and neither is the Siouxsie one. It's a win on penalties.
