During my other selection of songs, I chose Michael Kiwanuka - Love & Hate because it is a song I've really liked recently and it was great seeing him perform it on The Park at Glastonbury during sunset one year and also when we saw him at the Apollo. I know some think it's a bit drab but I was really pleased when a poster appreciated it and said thanks for introducing that song to them. That was good enough for me.
I carried my Dad's coffin to ABBA - The winner takes it all, so that felt right selecting that.
What a wonderful world - I've sang that on karaoke a few times so went with that and also with all the doom and gloom about in the world, thought it was a good submission to go with.
Goyte - Somebody that I used to know. I think you either love it or hate it. Went with it because at the time of release it was relatable. 2.3 billion views on YouTube too and there was a dance version doing the rounds that people in clubs went mad for, from videos I've seen.
My Mrs also played along but not on here and she had chosen Stand By Me, so that was good to see it get as far as it did. She was on pins for the semi final haha.
