The beach Boys are probably the most overrated band ever. Less rock n roll and more like Take That, yet still those fanboyz go on about pet sounds as though it is the greatest album ever made. It isn't- it's just over-produced harmonies, much the same approach as Queen used later. It really is no better than barber shop quartets or Take That and at least Take That didn't take themselves too seriously:-)Fanboyz? Seriously?
