On a related topic, I really like the Doctor and the Medics version of the Greenbaum song.

I once had to chuck Clive (Doctor) and Vom from Doctor and the Medics out of my Godmother's pub because they could no longer stand up. They came back the next day to apologise for their behaviour, nice lads.

Fun fact.

Greenbaum was non religious, if anything he was from Jewish decent. But he was a stoner hippy who wrote this song without really connecting his lyrics to religion.

It's also one of the best guitar licks of all time. It's speculated that he got that distinct breakup tone from using a dying battery in an overdrive peddle causing a very dynamic distorted sound.

So less weed and more batteries and this would have been a very different track.

2 through as well but the one of mine that I really thought had a chance got knocked out last round (unlucky draw I guess). My 2 that are left are almost certainly going out next round after narrow wins against very average competition.

At least I am safe from the relegation spots and 10th is the highest I've ever been!
