I don't think they are particularly overated, and there's certainly blander bands out there that have had much more success. I'm not a fan of them, but this track is very good.

Sometimes a song is just very good and resonates with a lot of people, people like to belt it out at a concert, in the pub or in the car. It gets played a lot and then the musos jump in. But it's populist crap, there is no 7 minute solo using the Mixolidian scale. I much prefer that Estonian prog Rock band no one has heard of. They don't use a fucking A chord for a start, might as well vote for some twat playing a cymbal.

I'm on the fence on this one:-)
